We had a very busy week last week. The weather was beautiful and we spent a lot of time outside. On Thursday, we walked to Lakeshore where Mrs. Peterfreund showed us the wetlands. We got to see turtles, geese, and beaver dams. It was very interesting. On Friday, we walked to the bowling alley. In science, we have been talking about pushes and pulls and force. The students were able to see how certain objects need a little more force to move. In the garden, we have planted spinach and are now working on organic, nonchemical ways to deter insects, especially wasps and bees. I will be finishing up math fact tests this week. Those scores will go on report cards and a copy of the test will be included. Report cards will be distributed next Wednesday. Enjoy the beautiful weather while it lasts!!!
