We are back in the swing of school and had a very productive first week back. The kids jumped right back into our routine. We studied adjectives, exchanging coins, and began our unit on famous Georgians. On Friday, we had a very special visitor come and speak to the kids about his extensive collection of Native American artifacts. He shared with them how he found them and that they could find things in this area as well. We also did our third plate waste trial, but this time our students did all of the weighing. It is our hope that they ate more broccoli and cauliflower now that they know about their importance and health benefits. Fortunately, there were many empty cups of vegetables! This is a very busy term with math. Please make sure you are practicing math facts at home several times per week. Have a wonderful week!
